Why the studio exists
Shoreline Foundry started with a simple frustration: so much of the software we use every day feels rushed. Good enough to launch, never quite finished.
The name says most of it. A foundry is a place where things are made carefully, with the right materials and enough time to get them right. The shoreline is the calmer part — where the noise settles and you can actually think. We wanted a studio that lived in both.
So we keep the list short. We choose problems that ordinary people run into all the time, small enough that we can solve them properly, and we stay with each one until it feels like something we'd happily use ourselves. When it's right, we ship it. Then we do the next one.
The Crew is the first app to come out of that approach. It won't be the last.
